Kirinyaga county governor Anne Waiguru has protested over the destruction of campaign billboards affiliated with the UDA party nominees.
She accused her opponents UDA political rivals of committing the offenses.
She said the party nominees will not give in to the intimidation as they have majority of the people’s support.
The county chief said she in this campaign season aspirants should engage in clean politics and avoid insults and character mud-sling.
She said she is focused on a more important task of explaining to the electorate what her administration has achieved and what it intends to achieve in the next term should she be re-elected.
